Variegated Moor Grass - Molinia caerulea

This attractive Moor Grass has long showy variegated blades of creamy white and green, which grow in a neat clump form. In fall this grass begins to show its ornamental purple seed heads, and the foliage takes on beautiful golden hues. Excellent for mass planting, ground cover, container growing, edging, urban gardens, coastal growing, banks and borders. It is very versatile and easy to grow, but requires well-draining soil and regular watering. Give it full sun to partial shade, and watch it grow up to 18" tall and wide. We have heard reports that the best conditions are full sun for the first half of the day or so, and afternoon/evening shade. Hardy to -25°F when protected from windchill. 

Our 1 gallon grasses are rooted, fertilized and ready to burst with new growth. Some grasses grow very tall and change in size rapidly across seasons. If you order a grass that is very tall at the time, we will trim it as needed for shipping.
