Pontiyak rhododendron is a special hybrid (ponticum x degronianum ssp. yakushimanum) with blossoms that show a delicate pink color with lavender hues. Its lovely blooms form beautiful compact trusses. This unique dwarf varietal creates an exceptional accent in any garden.
Pontiyak does well in full to partial sun and grows to 4' tall x 4' wide at maturity. Watch for blooms around April. Hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
