Pieris japonica 'Flaming Silver'

An attractive variegated broadleaf shrub, Flaming Silver is loaded with character. It's new growth shows the bright red colors you will see in our photos, which then turn to a pink hue, and ultimately arrive at the green leaves with silver-white edges. Hence the appropriate name. Small white bell blossoms show themselves along with the new growth for even more character. The overall color contrasts bring an amazing spectacle to any garden or landscape. It is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. 

This plant can grow to about 5' tall and 5' wide in about 10 years. These great plants require well-draining soil, and do best in sun to partial shade. Hardy to -15°F when protected from windchill.
