Calluna vulgaris 'Winter Chocolate' Heather

This extraordinary heather starts to bloom soft pink flowers in mid to late summer and goes well into fall. The foliage changes color in winter to a reddish chocolate bronze and then to more of an orange red in spring. Colors can vary depending on where it is planted, which makes Winter Chocolate one of a kind.

Hardy to -15° F when protected from windchill, you'll want to make sure it has well-draining soil and plenty of sun. Winter Chocolate growth habit is low and spreading, and it only reaches up to 18" tall x 24" wide.
