Agastache 'Rosie Posie' Hummingbird Mint
The prolific blooms of pink flowers that adorn magenta to purple calyxes throughout summer and into fall help Agastache Rosie Posie bring loads of character to gardens and landscapes. The vibrant calyxes of this delightful perennial, also known as Anise Hyssop, keep their color well after the blooms have spent. It is loved by hummingbirds, butterflies and bees alike. The attractive foliage is aromatic, and the plant has a full, rounded growth habit that make it an excellent choice for rock gardens, container growing, borders, slopes and beds. It is also great for floral and dried arrangements.
This plant is easy to grow, and you can remove spent blooms before they seed to prevent self-sowing, or leave them intact to attract birds to your garden or landscape. Rosie Posie requires well-draining soil and loves full sun. It is deer and rabbit resistant, and both heat and drought tolerant once established. It can grow as tall as 24" and about 30" wide. We recommend placing them about 24" apart. Cold hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill.
